Pierre Gagne Announces Early Warning Report on His Rockex Holdings

THUNDER BAY, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - May 22, 2012) - Mr. Pierre Gagné is pleased to announce that two companies controlled by him (together with Mr. Gagné or any one of them individually, the "Offeror") have acquired a total of 1,316,764 units (the "Units") in the capital of Rockex Mining Corporation (TSX:RXM) ("Rockex"). Each Unit is comprised of one common share (a "Common Share") and one half of one common share purchase warrant (each whole warrant, a "Warrant"). Each Warrant entitles the holder to purchase one Common Share for $0.40 within six months after closing or for $0.60 within the next six months, subject to acceleration in certain circumstances.
